About Us
Learning Done Differently
Humans are not one size fit all, so why should education be? The founding of Education Reclaimed was inspired by Charlotte Mason’s Relational Learning and driven by the principles of experiential interdisciplinary education.
Our methods are adaptable and made to mold to student needs.

Meet Our Founder

Kathryn has extensive experience in the field of education and college admissions counseling. She has worked with all age groups and ability levels to help students reach their maximum potential. She was inspired to found Education Reclaimed after witnessing first hand how students who don't fit into the traditional mold are left behind by the education system.
FAQs
Education Reclaimed is not associated with any particular faith or creed. Our programs and content are naturally secular, but we are happy to adapt our lessons to include nods towards a student’s belief system if desired.
Every Education Reclaimed session looks different. They are flexible explorations of knowledge and creativity and adapt to fit each learner or group. For more specific information, check the information on the program you are interested in.
Courses and lessons vary in cost based on the length of the session, number of students, and level of educator involvement. We also offer flexible payment methods, are willing to engage in dialogue around pricing, and are open to bartering. Please visit the information on the programming you are interested in for pricing specifics.
In order to keep overhead costs low, we do not have a physical location. Scheduled public programming are hosted by local vendors, listed on the event information page. We frequently visit individual homes, homeschool co-op groups, and are able to meet students virtually. Our service area is North Central Florida, with additional travel costs outside of Alachua County.
The word Reclaimed is doing double duty in our name. Firstly, we are reclaiming the idea of education. We are committed to doing education differently and bringing back curiosity. Secondly, Education Reclaimed is committed to sustainability. (Nearly) All materials used in lessons, courses, and events are ethically sourced and are repurposed, reclaimed, or made from recycled materials.
